'SNL U.K.' Lines Up Cynthia Erivo, Danny Dyer and James Norton as Hosts
Danny Dyer, James Norton and Cynthia Erivo will host the next three episodes of "SNL U.K." on Sky, with musical guests Sasha Keable, the Streets and Blossoms.

Cynthia Erivo, Danny Dyer and James Norton will host the next three episodes of "SNL U.K." on Sky, the network has announced.
"Rivals" star Dyer takes the reins on Oct. 10, with singer Sasha Keable booked as musical guest. "House of the Dragon" actor Norton follows on Oct. 17, joined by the Streets. Erivo, the Tony, Grammy and Emmy-winning performer recently announced for major screen and stage projects, hosts on Oct. 24 with Stockport band Blossoms providing the music.
The announcement extends a second season that opened with Jeff Goldblum as host and CMAT as musical guest. The two subsequent weeks paired "Stath Lets Flats" star Jamie Demetriou with Royal Blood, and "Chicken Shop Date" host Amelia Dimoldenberg with Rachel Chinouriri.
Sky renewed "SNL U.K." for a 12-episode second season, four more than its first run. The season airs in two parts: three episodes remain in October, and the final six are planned for early 2027. Exact dates for the 2027 block have not been announced.
All 11 original cast members returned for Season 2: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. The show also added one new face — Freddie Meredith, the comedian known for "Such Brave Girls" and "Big Boys."
Universal Television Alternative Studio's U.K. production team produces the series with Broadway Video for Sky and NOW. Lorne Michaels, the creator of the American "Saturday Night Live," serves as executive producer, with James Longman as lead producer.
At UTAS U.K. Productions, managing director Helen Kruger Bratt oversees the operation. Andy Charles Smith is lead producer, Shanna Baynard is executive in charge of production, and Hannah Peddar serves as production executive.
The October bookings signal Sky's intent to keep momentum behind the format through the autumn, with the six-episode winter block in early 2027 set to test whether the British adaptation can sustain an audience across a split season.
