Klein Releases New Album My Own Fairytale via Parkwuud

Klein has released her new album, My Own Fairytale, today through her own label, Parkwuud Entertainment. The London composer and vocalist also shared a music video for the LP's track "Man in the Mirror."

A press statement describes My Own Fairytale as Klein's "take on a dark Disney soundtrack." The record comprises 12 mostly instrumental songs that meld spectral ambient textures, high-drama classical writing, and the noise guitar of her 2025 album, Sleep With a Cane.

The album contains a single featured collaboration. Violinist and composer Sasha Scott co-wrote and arranged "Siren Reloaded" for the London Sinfonietta.

My Own Fairytale arrives after a prolific run for Klein earlier this year. She released a stream of singles — some of which appear on the new LP — alongside Turn Up, a YouTube-only joint EP with Mica Levi.

The "Man in the Mirror" video gives listeners a first visual entry point into the record's ghostly sound world.
